Happy Earth Day!

Happy Earth Day! Now go plant a tree. Well, not everyone can do that today; I can't do it. But you should at least spend the day outside, enjoying what nature has to offer. The weather is beautiful here, and will be constantly now that we're out of the rainy season. I hope you have a wonderful weather day where you are, but even if you don't, be sure to say thank you today (Mother Nature hasn't kicked us off of Earth yet) and do something nice for you home.

No, that doesn't mean a trip to Home Depot! Unless you're buying a tree to plant. But not driving your car today would be a good start. Or maybe doing some recycling. Turn off the lights. Take a short shower. Skip watering the lawn. Skip the factory farm hamburger. Whatever you do, don't wash your car. But really, we should be conserving our resources regularly, and today should be a day to celebrate our wonderful home and the effort we put into keeping it lovely. And if you don't live an Earth friendly lifestyle, it's never to late to start.
