Today was my first day of class. I had one class today. I'll meet the other three classes tomorrow. I have three sections of the same class, only on different days (one section meets twice a week, the other two three times). I really hate having to plan everything twice for two different lengths of class, but it happens sometimes.
I'm doing a new first-day assignment this semester, and it seemed to work well today. I appear to have a good bunch of students in this class--very active and on task, at least for today. We'll see when I do this assignment two more times tomorrow if it's a keeper.
