When you have a so-painful-I’m-crying-despite-taking-drugs-
headache, but force yourself to work on your thank-god-my-prof-
said-I-could-turn-this-in-Monday-instead-of-last-Thursday-paper, and your headache finally goes away, so you decide to move to a different spot in the apartment to work, and decide to take an ice cream break because you really did get good work done while in pain, don’t read blog posts about dissertation defenses while eating your ice cream. Just don’t. It’s a really stupid thing to do. Really. Stupid.
That paper is done. One more to go. Shit.
