My first conference paper? Presented.
I skipped the sessions today and just stayed home and slept late and played video games. It was nice to take a break. I have to work on my classes this evening, but the break felt well deserved.
I did however run into someone I never expected to see again when I was on campus yesterday. I am still in shock. This person may be moving here. It is weird to see someone after several years with no warning. Your brain fizzles at the inability to comprehend the situation (but, but, that person should be over there!).

Congratulations on the conference! I know that's a huge deal!
Also, I have had that weird experience of seeing someone years later in a very wrong place. It's one of the weirdest things ever.
